Dag vrienden,

Pxxxxxx.

Hello there!
Thanks for your enquiry,
Richard is out of the office at the moment at the Ally Pally show, so I'm
answering his emails...
There are two or three options available to you...
You can split the music socket in to two sockets and have the GPS sharing
Priority with the music so that it will cut when your on the phone and will
mute 50% when you speak, but music wont mute when it talks. (buy parts 65 and 171 total cost £34)
You can put the GPS into the Grey 5 Pin Aux socket, which give GPS the same priority as the Bike to Bike would have, it will mute the music 50%
when it speaks, but will still cut when the phone rings (buy part 172 listing
£27)
You can also plug the GPS into the phone socket, which is the most popular choice as it would make the GPS cut the music completely when it
spoke, but would not cut when the phone rings so you don;t get lost. You can split the phone socket into two with part 57 and use part 171 to go from that into the GPS (part 171 and 57 cost £30 in total)
So it's up to you and how you want your GPS to take priority. PLease
remember that if you think you may consider buying a bike to bike
system in the future (however distant that choice may seem at this point in time) we recomend NOT buying part 172 as this could mean more costs in the future.
Thanks again for your questions, if you want to ask anything else or place
an order please get in touch.
Kind regards
Mxxx Kxxx Bxxxx

Hello Rich,
I have to make the audio-connection between Garmin and my Autocom
Pro7-Sport. Therefor I need a special (isolated) lead.
At this moment my on-bike radio is connected to the "music input" and
my mobile phone is connected to the "phone input". So I suppose your
part nr. 172 (GPS Iso grey aux - street pilot isolated to Active-7-Smart or
Pro-7-Sport with 5 pins aux grey) is the best (and only) way to connect the Garmin Street Pilot to the Pro-7-Sport. Is this correct ?
When riding my bike and receiving a phone call, the music automaticly mutes completely, and returns about 5 to 6 seconds after the phone call was ended.
Will this also be this way when my gps-unit is giving me instructions ? I
mean : will the music mutes completely of partly when receiving
instructions from the GPS that is connected to the grey 5-pins aux-connector of my Pro-7-Sport ? I'm asking this because otherwise, when receiving several instructions shortly one after another, I will not hear any music at all.
Is there a way to connect AND the radio AND the gps to the same input
at the same time ?
Kindly regards,
PS.
